AA Batteries

AA batteries are suitable for everyday use in devices with high and medium energy requirements. They allow you to power, for example, digital cameras, external flashes, remotes of all kinds and much more. The voltage of standard AA batteries is 1.5V, for rechargeable batteries it's 1.2V.

Types of AA Batteries

Disposable alkaline batteries

  • Significantly cheaper
  • Can only be used once - cannot be recharged
  • Remain fully usable even in high temperatures over 50 °C

Rechargeable batteries

  • NiMH cells are the most common (nickel-metal hydride)
  • For NiMH cells the service life is about 500 charging cycles, for Li-Ion batteries it's up to 1000 cycles
  • Unlike alkaline batteries, they can be recharged and used again
  • The voltage for rechargeable NiMH batteries is 1.2V, for Li-Ion batteries 3.6V
