Smart wearables aren’t just for humans. Smart devices can help you avoid losing your dog or let you communicate with him remotely. These so-called smartpet wearables are ideal for any responsible pet owner. They generally include a GPS locator, IP dog camera, and a collar designed for the tracking device. Among the companies manufacturing pet wearables you can find such famous brands as Tractive or even D-Link.
Dog tracking
A GPS pet tracker is a handy device that lets you know the location of your pet at all times. Inside is a GPS locator and an integrated SIM card that relays data to your mobile phone. A GPS locator is lightweight and doesn’t bother the dog, so you can simply attach it to his collar. The tracker is waterproof to 1 meter and allows remote light activation in the dark. Turn on the light and you can immediately see where your four-legged friend has wandered off to. The Tractive collar with a stitched and reinforced GPS tracker pocket is also a good accessory to have.
Broadcast commands the dog at a distance
The Tractive Pet Remote is a unique dog training assistant. It’s a small box attached to the dog collar. The Pet Remote works in combination with a smart phone, which lets you send commands to your dog using light vibrations and sound signals. The signals are completely harmless and painless, but they are easily recognisable. The IP camera is another smart tool for dog owners, used to monitor events in a particular room remotely. This clever PET monitor responds when a dog barks or a cat meows. After dark, it automatically activates the night vision mode, so you can keep track of your pets at all times.
