The sunblinds and privacy shades minimise sunspots entering the car and prevent excessive warming of the interior. Here's what you should focus on when choosing.
Types of sunshades and car blinds
- On windscreen - there are roller or foldable models. They can not be used when driving.
- On the side window - they capture about 70% of the sun's rays and retain partial visibility from the car.
- In the rear window - except for models that cover the entire glass (can not be used while driving) there are roller blinds and curtains that retain partial visibility from the car. These can be used to drive.
Types of window apertures
- Suction cups - Reliable and rigid mounting in any vehicle.
- Fastening to the edge of a window - relatively reliable, but not applicable for all types of cars.
- Hooks - Less resistant to unwanted sliding from the window.
- Electrostatic - Ensures the diaphragm effectively fixes on the inside of the glass, allowing easy removal and re-attachment.
