Processor (CPU) - New cores of the AMD Zen 2 architecture on which the processor in the Xbox Series X is built are also included in the AMD Ryzen third-generation processors used in personal computers. These are probably the best processors today, so there's nothing better that the next-gen console could be equipped with.
Graphics Processor (GPU) - At first glance, it's clear that compared to the older Xbox One, the Xbox Series X graphics processor seems like from another world. Its theoretical performance is almost 10 times higher, which perfectly demonstrates the huge intergenerational difference.
SSD storage - The presence of SSD will significantly speed up launching and shorten loading screens. We can also look forward to larger and more densely packed worlds, whose loading won't be a problem with a fast storage solution.

What Does Next-Gen Look Like in the Xbox Series X?

New generation games are going to be bigger, nicer and more realistic. They will be able to use more detailed textures, finely modeled objects, realistic light and also more sophisticated artificial intelligence, more dynamic simulations of the game world or better game physics.

Gaming in 4K - We were able to try gaming on Xbox One X in 4K, but not in all games and only at 30 fps. The Xbox Series X brings 4K/60 fps to most games.
Up to 120 frames per second - Although the next generation will feature the 4K/60 fps standard, some games will run on the Xbox Series X at up to 120 frames per second. These should be, in particular, competitive titles in which gamers prefer fluency over high graphic quality.
Ray tracing - Light has an absolutely fundamental effect on the appearance of the game world. Much more prominent than it might seem at first glance. Ray tracing technology simulates light reflections as they work in real life, but for its performance complexity, it needs the performance of the next-gen consoles.
8K resolution support - There are very few 8K TVs on the market nowadays and they are very expensive. However, the Xbox Series X is ready for their arrival, as its output connectors are capable of transmitting up to 8K resolution at 120 frames per second.

New Games for the Xbox Series

Like all previous generations, the Xbox Series is one of the major video gaming platforms. You will therefore be able to play all major series (FIFA, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Far Cry, Need for Speed, etc.) and other well-known games from both large and small developers. In addition, you will also have access to exclusive titles published by Microsoft Studios, which you cannot play on competing consoles. These include, for example:

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Where would you like to go? Wherever it is, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will take you there. Its game map is based on satellite images, generated by artificial intelligence and representing the real world at a scale of 1:1. It is one of the first next-gen titles, which reveals its graphic processing. It was released for PCs in August 2020, but it is also available on the Xbox console.

Halo Infinite

Master Chief is back, and with him the Halo series. The new episode called Halo Infinite brings the most extensive story campaign so far, and on the Xbox Series X, it also brings 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Following the example of the previous episodes, it delivers fine-tuned gameplay for one player, complemented by cooperation and great online multiplayer.

The best racing game of the last decade? According to many, the answer would be Forza Horizon 4. In the sequel to the famous series, you will race in a beautiful open world with changing seasons. What Can You Play on the Xbox Series?

Next-gen games for the Xbox Series - These are, of course, most important for the next-generation consoles. Such games will take full advantage of the available performance and bring a technical level that was not possible before.
Xbox One games - Play the latest generation of games on the Xbox Series, such as Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Red Dead Redemption 2, or GTA V.
Xbox 360 games - Even in the days of the Xbox 360 console, there were many great games that will be available to you with the Xbox Series. You can look forward to TES V: Skyrim, the original Red Dead Redemption or Halo 3.
