Apple has included one exclusive feature for its top-of-the-line iPhone 15 Pro Max model. The phone has a 48MP main camera with three focal lengths (24mm, 28mm, 35mm), just like the Pro model. However, it has a telephoto lens that offers 5x optical zoom at 120mm, which is the most for an iPhone. Thanks to the new chip, the Pro and Pro Max models can record ProRes video in 4K at up to 60fps.

This means great energy efficiency and, of course, higher performance. The new CPU is specifically 10% faster, but the big changes come from the graphics unit. It is up to 20% faster and supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing. This is why leading AAA games are also coming to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

A major change from previous generations, the iPhone 15 Pro Max and other models in the lineup use a USB-C connector. You can now use it to charge your iPhone and transfer data. The latter is also blazingly fast thanks to USB 3 support. You can transfer files at speeds of up to 10Gbps, which is 20 times faster compared to older models. Plus, you now only need one cable for your iPhone, Mac, iPad, improved AirPods Pro 2, and other devices.

On the side of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, you'll find a customisable Action button, similar to what you might be familiar with from Apple Watch. This button allows you to have your favourite functions at your fingertips and is located above the volume control buttons.
