The brand-new KEYone from BlackBerry will be mainly appreciated by those loving standard QWERTY keyboards on a smartphone, as well as managers looking for a reliable and secure device ideal for work purposes. Interestingly, BlackBerry has fitted the phone with a screen whose shape is similar to that found on common smartphones. This makes working with the KEYone very comfortable. Thanks to its premium, rubber-coated back and rounded enges, it fits perfectly into your hand. The rest of the phone's body is made of metal, which makes the KEYone look really sleek and timeless. Pulsating inside the KEYone is the latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system complemented by many BlackBerry applications and top-of-the-line security solutions.
BlackBerry brings back the hardware keyboard you all grew to love
The most dominant feature of the front panel of the smartphone is not the display, as you would traditionally expect, but a great hardware keyboard, which occupies approximately its bottom third. While it might appear as a simple keyboard, it hides many surprises which will make your life with the KEYone much more enjoyable. By swiping across the keyboard, you can use it as a conventional touchpad. Alternatively, various shortcuts can be assigned to each key: both short and long-press gestures can be used to launch different applications or commands. Altogether, up to 52 different options stand at your disposal, ready to be used any time, to considerably speed up any task you use the KEYone for.
Sony IMX378
The BlackBerry KEYone offers the best camera ever seen in the history of the brand. It comes with an industry-leading camera sensor from Sony
12 Mpx
The rear camera offers an incredible resolution of 12MP, and delivers sharp and crisp photos under all circumstances. Thanks to practical keyboard shortcuts, you can easily edit camera parameters and use the space bar as a shutter.
8 Mpx
The front-facing 8MP camera has a 84° wide-angle lens and allows you to communicate with your subordinates via video calls offering great audio and picture quality.
Uncompromising security, guaranteed by BlackBerry
Over the years, the BlackBerry brand has become synonymous with top-notch security of user data. The preinstalled Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system has been fundamentally redesigned, making the Android platform safer than ever before. BlackBerry's very own, completely unique DTEK application, still keeps you apprised of your phone's security status, and monitors the security of all installed software. Using it, you can see, for example, what data the app has accessed, and even how often and when exactly; this naturally includes Google apps that have come with Android. In addition, you can rely on regular monthly security updates.
The resolution specifies the number of pixels (pixels) that are displayed horizontally and vertically on a screen. The higher the resolution, the sharper and more detailed the image.
Lens speed (f), indicates how much light the lens is capable of shooting to render the subject. It is the ratio of the diameter of the aperture input and focal length.
