Apple iPhone 15 Pro features a familiar design at first glance, but with one key update. The brushed metal frame is made of highly durable aerospace-grade titanium. This material is used, for example, in spacecraft due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The iPhone 15 Pro is therefore also very light. It's available in four colour variants – black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.

Apple A17 Pro chip gives the phone unprecedented performance

The new Apple A17 Pro chip, which powers the iPhone 15 Pro, is unparalleled. It is manufactured using a 3nm process, making it significantly more efficient than other system-on-a-chip (SoC) solutions. The phone promises an increase in graphical performance in particular. In addition to being approximately 20% more powerful, the GPU can also accelerate demanding techniques like ray tracing. This will be appreciated by demanding mobile gamers, but the performance will also come in handy for video editing.

The iPhone 15 Pro performance is truly top-notch. In 2024, we can expect several game titles primarily developed for PC and consoles to run natively on these new iPhones.

The wonderfully customisable Action button of iPhone 15 Pro

The improved design of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro also includes a new Action button, which you may be familiar with from Apple Watch. You can find it just above the volume buttons and customise it as you like. Quick access to the camera, flashlight, or voice recorder are just some of the many options.

The camera is obviously a priority for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. This year, you have a wide selection of photographic modes thanks to the integration of hardware and software. The main 48MP camera allows you to switch between three focal lengths: 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm, while the telephoto lens can handle triple optical zoom. Support for the ProRAW format is already a given, and you can now record ProRes videos in 4K resolution up to 60fps.
