Anchoring

If you want to anchor your suspension equipment in a doorway, you need a mount for the door hinge. In some suspension systems it is part of the set, with others you may have to purchase it separately (always depends on the model). Another option is to anchor it on the ceiling, though the ceiling mounts are always sold separately. Suspension equipment can also be used outdoors, for example, mounted on a tree.

Strap weight capacity and length

  • The weight capacity in most suspension systems is about 150 kg.
  • The strap length from the anchor to the handles is adjustable, usually between 150-250 cm.

TRX suspension training equipment

This brand gave suspension equipment its worldwide popularity. Compared to other brands, TRX equipment usually includes a CD with training videos, travel bag (can accommodate the whole set), and several different handles that allow you to practice different muscle groups in various angles and positions.
