AMD Ryzen 7 3800X CPU Overclocking Options
The CPU utilises automatic overclocking to effectively manage power consumption and general processing load. Under heavy load, the CPU will automatically raise the clock speed up to 4,5 GHz. The AMD Ryzen 7 Matisse CPU enables you to comfortably change the base core frequency via manual overclocking as well. It includes an unlocked multiplier for it and can put up with heavy processing load. However, overclocking causes a higher TDP, which for the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X CPU makes 105 W. This CPU model comes with an original cooler, though it's not suitable for for extreme load. If you want to experiment with overclocking, make sure to get a different, more powerful cooling solution.
