A Diary from Florence
Bianca stands in the garden of her family's Tuscan villa, inhaling the sweet scent of roses. She pleads with her heart to finally stop longing for the one man she can never love…
Since her twin sister returned home, Bianca has felt more lost than ever. For the first time in her life, she isn't the only one shouldering the family's burdens. But this newfound freedom also brings unsettling thoughts: she can't get Lorenzo out of her head. She has loved him since they were children, when they first met under the tree on the border of their lands. But due to a long-standing family feud, they can never be together…
To escape her sorrow, she enthusiastically accepts an offer from her childhood friend, Brando, who secures her a position at Florence's Uffizi Gallery. While working in the archives of the famous museum library, she finds herself drawn to his warm brown eyes. When she discovers the long-lost diary of a young woman who once lived in their villa, the story of a forbidden love seems to mirror her own fate… and as she pores over its pages, Bianca wonders if she might find courage in the writings of this stranger. But what if she has missed her chance at happiness? Is it too late to heal the wounds of the past and fight for the man she loves?
The second part of the series about the fates of the four Falconeri sisters, who inherited an exceptional gift from their mother. A story full of family secrets and forbidden love, enhanced by the magical Tuscan landscape, rich with colours and scents.
