Catabasis
A fantastic journey to hell, full of academic rivalry and the search for salvation
Graduate student Alice Law has always had one goal: to excel in the field of analytical magic above all others. She sacrificed her self-respect, her health, her love life, and most importantly, her sanity. But the only person who can make her dream come true, the greatest magician in the world, is dead, and - unfortunately for her - in hell. Alice sets out to find him, along with her arch academic rival Peter Murdoch. But hell is different from the philosophers' claims, the rules are upside down, and if Alice is to get out alive, she and Peter will have to pull together. That is, if they can find common ground at all. Will they succeed, or will they kill each other in the process?
