A freshly mummified body is found in Brighton's Natural History Museum. When cryptic messages start turning up along with Egyptian burial containers and body parts, Detective Francis Sullivan knows it's the work of a serial killer. In addition, Francis' ex-lover, Marni, a tattoo artist, is facing murder charges. A torn investigator must battle his own demons and time to uncover a mad embalmer before it's too late.

I have to say, that was quite a ride! At the beginning I was bothered by the fact that the book doesn't deal with only one case, but two and they intertwine, but it was much more fun. The story had both suspense and action and completely draws the reader into the plot. The book reads so well that you don't even notice the speed at which it flies by.
