His specialization is conservation and restoration in the field of applied arts and crafts. He is interested in historical decorative techniques and the technologies of their implementation. He is the author of several textbooks for the fields of artistic crafts (New Methods of Museum Conservation, Painting Techniques) and specialist books (Gilding, Stained Glass, Stucco).
