Prague Ripper
Audiobook The Prague Ripper, by Jan Bauer, read by Petr Štěpán, directed by Ondřej Černý.
Rychtář Jakub Protiva and monk Blasius #1
Prague, late 14th century. The recently founded New Town is booming, but it attracts not only honest craftsmen and merchants, but also thieves, swindlers and rapists. However, Jakub Protiv is particularly worried about the mysterious Ripper, who murders light women in a particularly cruel way on dark nights. Can the cunning and somewhat reckless Franciscan friar Blasius help him? And can these two men, different in many ways, ever work together? They will have to try anyway, because they have a common goal: to uncover the mysterious killer who is the scourge of the city.
