Dobrý den, bude i e-kniha? Mám všechny z této série ve čtečce, tak bych ráda měla i tuhle. Děkuji
In a remote village deep in the Pyrenees, a massive landslide completely cuts off the only connection to the outside world. The local residents are trapped in isolation – with no signal and no means of escape. As if that wasn't enough, an even more terrifying threat begins to plague the village. A serial killer emerges from the darkness of the mountains, leaving mutilated bodies in their wake and spreading fear and paranoia among the locals. Commandant Martin Servaz is currently facing disciplinary action and should be staying out of it, but his former partner, Marianne, is also trapped in the sealed-off valley. Servaz knows he must act – even without authorisation, without backup, and all alone. A desperate investigation begins in a cut-off community where fear and suspicion are spreading. Will Servaz find the killer in time, or will the shadow of the mountains witness his final case?
Bernard Minier grew up in the southwest of France, spending his childhood in the Pyrenees. He studied at the University of Toulouse, which is also home to Martin Servaz, the protagonist of several of his thrillers. For over twenty years, he has lived near Paris, is married, and has two children. Before Minier surprised French readers and critics in 2011 with his detective novel The Frozen Dead, he worked as a customs officer. His belated, and perhaps for that reason more mature, debut won several awards, such as the Elle magazine readers' prize (in the detective category) and, most notably, the prestigious Prix Polar at the Cognac crime fiction festival. The Frozen Dead has been translated into several world languages, including English, and was also adapted into the French television series Glacé. Minier's other books have also garnered success with both readers and critics.
