For decades, social pressure has been pushing us to climb higher, to constantly outdo and improve ourselves, to achieve more and more success - only then will we finally feel successful, fulfilled, satisfied... maybe even happy. Our lives have turned into a never-ending chase for the next goal, the next item checked off the to-do list. But nothing is free: we pay for all this with our mental and physical health.
Are we really happier? And will it ever be enough?
The book Toxic Productivity shows, that we live in a world obsessed with getting more done, reveals the hidden roots of it, why we're always chasing something, and gradually unravels the myth, that doing more is worth more.
It's high time to break out of the trap of toxic productivity habits and dive into a life that is not only productive but also deeply meaningful. Let this book guide you on a transformative journey of self-discovery and reclaim your time, energy and joy in life.
Being mindful of your own emotional well-being is more important than relentlessly giving more and more performance. Allow yourself to reflect on what your motivations are and whether your concept of productivity needs to be rethought.
