Original Prusa SL1
The time has come for the Prusa Research brand to conquer the world of SLA printing. They are well on their way with their first 3D printer, the Original Prusa SL1. The basic building blocks of the SL1 3D printer are its robust duralumin frame, a high-resolution LCD touch panel, and UV light to cure light resin layers as thin as 0.01mm thick. The Original Prusa SL1 3D printer boasts a print speed of 6 seconds per layer and a print area size of 150 × 68 × 120 mm.

MODERN TECHNOLOGY ENSURES
Precision Printing Courtesy to the Original Prusa SL1 3D Printer
Let's take a closer look at what's behind these consistently accurate prints. The first noteworthy element is the 3D printer's 5.5" LCD panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 px. The resin tank boasts a tilt function, so it's the resin tank itself that tilts after the layer has cured and the print stays nicely in place. In addition, the resin is mixed when the resin tank tilts, which improves the quality and speeds up printing. The Original Prusa SL1 3D printer has a resin level sensor. This way, the 3Dprinter informs you in time if you need to make a refill and prevents a situation where you run out of resin while working. The printer has a handy front cover to protect you from various vapours that are produced during printing with SLA technology. Air circulation is provided by a fan with a high-quality filter on the back of the Original Prusa SL1 3D printer.

Safe and Easy to Use 3D Printer
Working with the Original Prusa SL1 3D printer is now easier than ever. Just upload your files via PC, USB, LAN or WiFi and start exploring your creative skills. You can also check the status of your 3D printer via a mobile phone. Automatic firmware updates are a matter of course. The Original Prusa SL1 3D printer also has an interactive wizard that helps you set everything up so you can start printing right away.
The resolution of the UV display in 3D printers that work on the principle of curing resin with UV light (so-called resin 3D printers) plays a key role in defining the level of detail and quality of the final print. The UV display is an essential component of such a print, as it controls which areas of the resin are exposed to UV light, thereby curing and forming the individual layers of the print. The higher resolution of the UV display means the size of the individual "pi×els" of light is smaller, allowing finer details and smoother surfaces to be created. The resolution of a UV display is usually given in micrometers
