Zdravím, jakou grafické karty mi můžete doporučit, které zvládají 10 bit bar. hloubku v Open GL (Photoshop, Zoner). Preferuji nižší až střední třídu. Děkuji předem Cr

The EIZO CS2731 is part of a wider range of professional photo and video monitors in the colourEdge series. An important revolutionary improvement is the new colourNavigator 7 software, which is currently the only software in the world that allows you to generate ICC profiles for photo editors without using a calibration probe – just by selecting one of the preset monitor image modes using the MODE button on the EIZO colourEdge CS2731's control bar. The EIZO colourEdge CS2731 uses a low-power LCD panel with a semi-matte finish and a resolution of 2560×1440. The backlighting system consists of high-efficiency colour LED elements, which means it emits little heat. The so-called “cool” screen significantly contributes to less eye fatigue and a longer lifespan for the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor. HiPWM technology is used to control the brightness, which uses very high-frequency pulses to control the screen's luminosity over a very wide brightness range without causing the image to flicker, giving it a perfectly calm and clean feel – similar to an image reproduced by light reflected from paper.

The EIZO colourEdge CS2731 uses Hi-PWM technology to control brightness, which controls the light flux of the LED elements of the backlighting system with pulse-width modulation operating at a high frequency in the order of tens of kHz, so there is no image flicker when the brightness of the screen surface is reduced by the user. In the evening, you can significantly reduce the blue spectrum emitted by the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor's backlighting system by lowering the monitor's white point below 5000K. The image is therefore always optimal in any light conditions.

The CS2731 monitor's LCD panel offers a sufficient colour range for the screen used, which guarantees wide coverage of the most common RGB standards: 100% of sRGB IEC61966-2.1, 99% of Adobe RGB, 98% of DCI-P3 and 80% of REC2020. The monitor's colour gamut also almost completely covers the CMYK standards ISO-coated and US web-coated, making it also suitable for simulating print data on the monitor (soft-proofing). The monitor's wide colour gamut is set in the factory-preset “Custom” mode, which is available right out of the box without the need to calibrate the monitor. This allows the photographer to easily display the rich red tones of their RAW photos, achievable for example in the ProPhoto RGB colour standard, without having to specially calibrate the monitor to this standard.

Deviations in the brightness and chromaticity of individual pixels cause so-called image “inhomogeneity”, which also changes according to the ambient temperature, the set brightness, and the white point of the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor. The result is a different colour rendering of displayed photos placed in different parts of the screen. This problem is solved by the technology of electronic correction of brightness and colour deviations of individual pixels (DUE = Digital Uniformity Equalizer). In addition, new improved image processors address the homogeneity of the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 screen not only independently of the set monitor brightness, but also of the set white point colour temperature.

Photographic RAW formats typically work with 14-bit precision, and after being converted to 16-bit photographic RGB formats like TIFF, PNG, and others, they can then be further adjusted to a 10-bit format (3×10 bit RGB) and sent via a graphics card to the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor's input. If the monitor can process data with a 10-bit colour depth, it can display very fine and smooth gradients even with photographic data working with a large colour gamut (e.g., the AdobeRGB or ProPhoto RGB standard).

For the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor, you can download the QCM (Quick colour Match) program for free from the manufacturer's website, which allows you to quickly match the colour output of the monitor with the colour print from one of the nine supported EPSON or CANON printers. This technology takes advantage of the ability to automatically switch the monitor to the wide-gamut “AdobeRGB” mode with automatic white point setting (if connected to a PC via a USB cable) and to print on supported wide-gamut EPSON/CANON printers using special print plug-in modules, which are preset to ensure the print is always correct, without the user having to set anything or have any deeper knowledge of printer colour management. For printers not supported by the QCM program, it is possible to calibrate the white point of the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor very precisely according to the nature of the light falling on the print output using the colourNavigator 7 program. (The EIZO colourNavigator 7 calibration software solves calibration tasks for printing = simulation of print data on the monitor = softproof)).

For seamless connection of modern computers to the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor, there are 10-bit USB-C and DP (DisplayPort) inputs, an 8-bit DVI-D, and also a new 10-bit and 12-bit HDMI, which is also capable of processing not only encoded RGB but also YCbCr data up to a resolution of 2560×1440. The user can also use the classic DVI-D interface for connecting the monitor to older PCs. The EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor also allows the connection of two external peripherals via the fast USB 3.1 interface and another two external peripherals via the USB 2.0 interface.

For dimly lit rooms, such as post-production studios, the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor is equipped with an illuminated guide for the functions above each control button. With the new stand, the 27" monitor panel is easy to handle. The EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor stand supports height adjustment in the range of 26–181mm (a range of up to 155mm), as well as swivelling by 344°, tilting up to 35°, and finally, a 90° panel rotation – i.e., turning the panel to a “portrait” position (pivot function) for comfortable viewing of long web pages, documents, or spreadsheets.

The EIZO colourEdge CS2731 LCD monitor is equipped with special EIZO image processors, which achieve precise colour/black-and-white reproduction of the final image with the ability to distinguish even very close colour shades. Special mathematical algorithms are handled by processors working with high precision (16-bit LUT tables for image data correction). It ensures the precise transfer of the colour image from its input part (3×8-bit or 3×10-bit RGB video signal) to its output on the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor's own screen (LCD panel). Every single unit of the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor is individually calibrated using precise calibration probes before it leaves the EIZO production line. This guarantees minimal production deviations between individual manufactured units and thus easy usability of “generic” (factory-averaged) colour profiles for the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor.

EIZO guarantees zero tolerance for defective pixels or sub-pixels. If defective pixels/sub-pixels are found within six months from the date of sale, the user has the right to request a replacement or a significant discount on the purchased EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor. Thanks to the high quality of all components used in the production of the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 monitor, the manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on this model, including a warranty on the LCD panel and its backlighting system. For the EIZO colourEdge CS2731 model, you can also order a professional photographic hood that prevents unwanted side reflections of ambient light on the monitor's screen surface. Calibration software is used (as the name suggests) to calibrate the monitor. Thanks to calibration, it is possible to set the desired image parameters of the monitor, and the result of the calibration is also the creation of a so-called ICC profile for the monitor, which is a file where information about the state the monitor was in after its calibration was completed is stored, and at the same time, it is a file that photo editors work with when they are launched. Without a monitor ICC profile, they are unable to correctly reproduce colour photographs taken according to various video standards. The colourNavigator 7 calibration software is revolutionary in that it now ensures the generation of the monitor's ICC profile without the need to calibrate the monitor with a calibration probe! It is simply enough to select a suitable video mode for work on the monitor using the MODE button, and the colourNavigator 7 program will AUTOMATICALLY generate the corresponding monitor ICC profile for the installed and used photo editor, so the user will see the photo correctly in their photo editor without having to calibrate the monitor beforehand. The individual preset video modes can also be “customised”, i.e., their image parameters can be changed, thus creating and saving a new, up-to-date monitor ICC profile to the monitor, and also naming them as desired. The operation of the colourNavigator 7 program is also very simple because all communication with the monitor takes place in Czech and does not force the user to understand the special terms necessary for the otherwise quite complicated manual setting of the monitor's colour management. Of course, if needed (e.g., the monitor ages, or it is necessary to create a new special – not preset – monitor ICC profile), it is possible to recalibrate the monitor at any time using a calibration probe. The colourNavigator 7 program uses the so-called hardware calibration method (independent of the computer's graphics card) for this. However, in the case of new or lightly used monitors, calibration is NOT necessary, and the user does not need to consider purchasing a suitable calibration probe when buying the monitor. At the same time, they do not need to know anything about calibrations or setting up colour management. colourNavigator 7 now handles everything for them. In the case of performing a control recalibration of the monitor, it is very pleasant that thanks to the high stability of the components used and thanks to the careful calibration of the transfer characteristics of the RGB channels already in the factory by the manufacturer, only the basic RGB colour components and then black and white need to be measured to calibrate the monitor. The calibration thus takes only a few minutes. Another “bonus” of the sophisticated calibration of EIZO monitors is the fact that after the monitor ages, every user can perform a control recalibration of all factory preset modes (brightness, white point, and gamut) at home and by themselves, thus restoring all factory preset video modes in home conditions. (Of course, it is advisable to verify the accuracy of the used calibration probe before calibrating the monitor). It is again an advantage that the colourNavigator 7 program now supports the 20 most common calibration sensors and, of course, all integrated calibration sensors in EIZO monitors with an integrated calibration sensor.
