The Philips 55PUS7000 TV displays content on a 55" LED panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution and uses the Titan OS operating system. Direct LED backlighting ensures even brightness distribution. The Pixel Precise Ultra HD picture engine optimises sharpness and contrast. The TV processes high dynamic range content, including HDR10, HLG and the dynamic HDR10+ standard for more detailed viewing. The audio component consists of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies, which create a three-dimensional soundscape.

The 139cm (55") display with 4K Ultra HD (3840 × 2160) resolution uses Direct LED backlighting technology, which contributes to even brightness across the entire screen. The native refresh rate of the panel is 60Hz. Image processing is controlled by the Pixel Precise Ultra HD system, which enhances sharpness and detail in real time. The Micro Dimming feature further refines the display by controlling contrast in individual areas of the picture. The TV supports the HDR10 and HLG high dynamic range formats, as well as the dynamic HDR10+ format, which optimises colour reproduction and contrast for each scene individually.

The sound system, with a total output of 20W, consists of two 10W full-range speakers. The TV supports advanced audio formats to create a three-dimensional sound field. The key is the presence of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technologies, which surround the listener with sound coming from all directions, including from above. The IntelliSound engine offers various modes, including bass enhancement, night mode and vocal enhancement for clearer dialogue. It also includes automatic volume control and the option to adjust the volume for connected headphones separately.

The user interface is provided by the Titan OS operating system with 8GB of internal memory, which provides fast access to content and applications. Pre-installed global services such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are on offer. The system also supports Czech apps, including Prima+ and LepšíTV. Thanks to the HbbTV function, you can access online archives and additional content from TV stations. The TV is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. In addition, support for the MATTER standard extends the possibilities of integration into smart home systems.

Gamers will benefit from a set of features that improve the console gaming experience. One of the HDMI 2.1 ports supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technology, which synchronises the TV's refresh rate with the output from the gaming device, reducing screen tearing. The ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) feature automatically switches the TV to low-latency game mode as soon as you connect a compatible console. Gamers also have the Gamebar 2.0 gaming panel for quick access to settings, and there is support for cloud gaming services.

The TV offers three HDMI ports for connecting external devices. One of them is version 2.1 and supports eARC, VRR and ALLM, the other two are version 2.0. You also have two USB ports for playing multimedia files from external drives, including formats such as MKV, AV1 and FLAC. You can connect to the internet using dual-band Wi-Fi 5 or via a LAN port. Wireless accessories, such as headphones or a soundbar, can be paired via Bluetooth 5.2. It also includes a digital optical audio output, a headphone output and a CI+ slot for pay-TV decoding cards.

The TV has a thin black bezel that makes the picture stand out. Stability on furniture is provided by two separate feet with a pitch of 790mm. The dimensions of the TV with the stand are 1226 × 735 × 256mm and the weight is 9.9kg. For wall mounting, there is a 200 × 100 mm VESA mount. The remote control is made of recycled plastic and the packaging material is FSC certified, which reflects the manufacturer's focus on sustainable materials.

In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the TV falls into energy efficiency class E with a consumption of 64kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When viewing high dynamic range (HDR) content, it belongs to class G with a consumption of 111kWh per 1,000 hours. To reduce consumption, the light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen according to the ambient light conditions. You can also use Eco mode, an auto-off function or the option to turn off the picture when listening to the radio, which further contributes to energy savings.
