The Sharp 65HP5265E TV uses a 65" QLED panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution to display a detailed and colour-rich picture. The Google TV operating system unifies content from your streaming services into one clear interface, simplifying the search for films and series. Support for key HDR formats including Dolby Vision dynamically adjusts the brightness and contrast for each scene individually. The sound system with Dolby Atmos decoding creates an immersive surround sound experience. Four HDMI 2.1 ports are provided for connecting modern devices, such as games consoles or soundbars, which transmit a high-quality signal.

QLED Technology and 4K Resolution

The QLED panel with a 165cm (65") screen size and 4K Ultra HD (3,840×2,160) resolution uses quantum dot technology to reproduce a wide colour spectrum. The picture processor upscales lower-resolution content, while the native refresh rate of the panel is 50/60Hz. To ensure high contrast, the TV supports HDR10, HLG and, most importantly, Dolby Vision. This technology uses dynamic metadata to optimise the brightness and colours for each frame, ensuring accurate rendering of details in both dark and light parts of the picture, in line with the creators' intent.

Surround Sound with Dolby Atmos

Integrated speakers with a total output of 24W complement the picture with clear audio performance. Support for the Dolby Atmos format delivers the sensation of three-dimensional sound that moves around and above the viewer. This technology precisely places individual sound effects, such as rain or a flying helicopter, into a virtual space. For wide compatibility, the TV also decodes common audio formats like Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and the more modern Dolby Digital AC4, correctly reproducing sound from most sources.

Unified Google TV Interface

The Google TV operating system unifies the selection of films, series and live broadcasts from all your apps into a single interface with personalised recommendations. The interface replaces manual switching between platforms and integrates Google Assistant for voice searching for content and controlling your smart home. The system provides access to YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV and local platforms such as SledovaniTV and Telly. Chromecast functionality allows for wireless mirroring of content from mobile devices and laptops directly onto the screen.

Optimised for Game Consoles

Gamers will appreciate the game mode, which optimises picture settings and reduces input lag for a faster response. The presence of the HDMI 2.1 standard on all ports brings the Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) feature. Signal detection from a compatible games console automatically activates game mode, completely independent of manual settings. This results in smoother gameplay and instant responses to commands from the controller.

Full Connectivity

For connecting external devices, the TV has four HDMI ports, all of which support the 2.1 standard. This is crucial for connecting modern games consoles, powerful computers or soundbars with the eARC function for transmitting uncompressed audio, including Dolby Atmos. The high data throughput of the HDMI 2.1 ports is ready to handle a 4K signal at a high frame rate. Furthermore, the TV offers two USB ports for playing multimedia from external drives, a LAN port for a wired internet connection, and wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.

Design and Installation Options

The TV has a minimalist design with thin bezels that let the picture itself stand out. You can place the device on a TV cabinet using the supplied stand, which has feet with a spacing of 1,257mm. For wall mounting, the back of the panel has mounting holes corresponding to the VESA 400×300mm standard. The dimensions of the TV itself without the stand are 1,445×833×83mm. With the stand attached, the total height changes to 899mm and the depth reaches 300mm. The weight of the panel alone is 15kg.

Energy Consumption

The TV's operational consumption corresponds to energy class E in standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, amounting to 82kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When viewing high dynamic range (HDR) content, which requires higher panel brightness, the consumption increases. In this mode, the TV falls into energy class G with a consumption of 190kWh for the same period. In standby mode, its electricity consumption is at a low level of 0.5W, contributing to overall savings.
