The Thomson 65QG4S14 TV uses a QLED panel with a 65" screen size and 4K Ultra HD resolution. The environment is provided by the Google TV operating system with access to apps like Netflix or Disney+. The screen with 10-bit colour depth and Direct LED backlighting has an anti-reflective surface that reduces unwanted glare. Comprehensive support for key HDR formats includes Dolby Vision and HDR10+, covering content from most streaming services. Sound reproduction is complemented by Dolby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround standards.

The 165cm screen with 4K Ultra HD resolution displays content using QLED technology, which uses quantum dots to reproduce a wide spectrum of colours with 10-bit depth. Direct LED backlighting ensures even brightness distribution. Support for high dynamic range includes HLG, HDR10+ and the dynamic Dolby Vision format, which optimises the picture for each scene individually. The anti-reflective surface suppresses glare when watching during the day, and the panel's refresh rate operates at 50/60Hz.

The television processes surround sound formats. Decoders for Dolby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround work with film, TV series and game soundtracks to create a spatial soundscape. This makes the sound better correspond to the on-screen action and envelops the listener. To connect external audio systems, such as soundbars, the TV has a digital optical output, and for private listening, it offers a headphone output.

The user environment is provided by the Google TV operating system. It offers access to thousands of apps, including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and Czech streaming services. For wireless content sharing from your phone, tablet or computer, you can use the built-in Chromecast and DLNA support. Control is made easy with voice commands via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The TV offers GAME MODE, which optimises the picture settings for video games. Activating it reduces input lag and thus improves fluency and reaction accuracy in games. The two available HDMI 2.1 specification ports support signal transmission with higher data throughput, which is key for modern-generation gaming consoles. This allows you to connect gaming devices without compromising response speed.

For connecting external devices, the TV has four HDMI ports, two of which are 2.1 specification and two are version 2.0. It also offers three USB ports for playing multimedia from external drives or recording TV broadcasts. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for pairing headphones or a soundbar. The equipment is complemented by a digital optical output, a headphone jack, a CI+ slot, and DVB-T2 HEVC, DVB-S2, and DVB-C tuners.
