The AIPA AI-NC-MC40-VMW-0280 4.0Mpix indoor mini camera with WiFi offers a compact security solution in a box design. It captures images at a resolution of 2688 × 1512 pixels at 20 frames per second. The fixed lens with a focal length of 2.8mm provides a horizontal viewing angle of 103° and relies on a high-sensitivity sensor with 0.01 lux illumination. Advanced person detection and intrusion detection in a defined area increase the efficiency of indoor monitoring. It is powered from the mains using a DC 12V adaptor. The device uses advanced image analysis algorithms that eliminate false alarms caused by common changes in the surroundings. The system supports motion detection, person detection, and intrusion tracking in a selected area. The user can set up to four regions of interest (ROI) for high-quality recording or up to three privacy zones to protect privacy. When an incident is detected or the device is disconnected from the network, the system sends an instant notification to a mobile phone or email address.

High-resolution image
The 1/3" 4.0 Megapixel PS CMOS sensor captures video at 2688 × 1512 pixels at 20 frames per second. The fixed 2.8mm focal length lens provides a wide 103° horizontal viewing angle to cover a large part of the room. Modern H.265 video compression effectively reduces data storage capacity requirements and network load while preserving detail. The device also supports the older H.264 and MJPEG formats. The WDR 120dB function compensates for strong backlighting and prevents dark or overexposed areas in the image.
Low-light imaging and audio transmission
This AIPA indoor IP camera relies on the high sensitivity of its sensor chip, which can capture a colour image down to an illumination level of 0.01 lux at F 2.0. The absence of a visible or invisible illuminator contributes to the unobtrusiveness of the entire device in the monitored area, as the camera does not emit any light at night. 3DNR digital noise reduction cleans the resulting image of graininess that occurs in poor lighting conditions. The camera supports real-time audio interaction thanks to the presence of one audio input and one audio output. The device requires an external microphone and speaker to be connected to take full advantage of two-way communication with people in the monitored area. The sound alarm serves as an effective tool to alert you to unauthorised entry, and there is also one physical alarm input for connecting to external sensors.
Recording storage and connection
Recordings can be stored directly on the device without the need to connect to an external recorder. The integrated MicroSD card slot supports media up to 512GB, providing space for many days of video recording. Local storage works completely independently of the internet connection and backs up data even in the event of a network outage. Users can set different recording modes according to a time schedule or start recording only when motion is detected. Connectivity is provided by a 2.4GHz wireless WiFi connection with a range of up to 100 metres in an open space, or a wired connection via an RJ-45 Ethernet port. Management and live view monitoring is possible via the BitVision mobile app for Android and iOS, the iVMS320 central software for Windows, or standard web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
