AMD is in the second wave of its new Ryzen processors . This time they are designed especially for all safer players. Compared to the previous generation, it delivers a significant increase in overall computing power, more efficient consumption, and has a range of unique technologies.
With a massive increase in performance , there is a shift to a completely new architecture, and a refined production process (14nm FinFET). This allows you to enjoy much faster rendering of videos, encryption of discs, and ultimately boosting FPS in all genre games. We have to admit that, according to tests, the Ryzen processors have little reserves in this area. AMD knows about them and works intensively with game developers for the necessary repairs.
Technological improvement is made with the massive use of SMT technology, which is basically well-known MultiThreading. This is the support of two computational threads per core.
The new lineup of AMD Ryzen processors is firmly connected to the brand new AM4 . It is quite clear that, besides the processor itself, you also need a new motherboard, and possibly DDR4 memory. However, this undoubtedly large financial investment pays off in the form of integration to a whole range of modern technologies. From a long list, we will switch USB 3.1 (USB-C), PCIe 3.0, NVMe, 32Gb / s M.2 slots, SATA Express and, of course, the support of multiple CrossFire graphics cards will not be missed.
Finally, we have a good message for the owners of the older Windows 7 operating system. The manufacturer does not guarantee technical support, but the processor will be functional in this system as well.
