There is no collagen like collagen
Cemio KAMZÍK® contains NATIV natural collagens. COL, which retain their original triple helix structure thanks to gentle processing technology, resist the action of digestive juices and still retain their biological activity. Native, non-grafted, i.e. non-hydrolysed collagen does not serve to nourish articular cartilage or anything else. It's not even absorbed from the stomach. It is very resistant to digestive juices. And this is important because it retains its original chemical structure, which carries important information. Although this collagen never reaches the joints, the information that the preserved collagen molecule transmits to the immune cells in the intestines is transferred there. They mediate it where it is needed and start the repair processes in the cartilage. Joint problems do not arise from a lack of collagen or gelatin in the diet. These are the source of amino acids that the body needs to make its collagen right where it should be. And almost none of us suffer from malnutrition. It's not about providing nutrition to the joints. This is provided by a diet rich in protein. It is important to start the process of creating your own collagen, which for various reasons does not work. And this is not provided by hydrolysed collagen, but by non-hydrolysed, native collagen.
Why take collagen
- The body's own, i.e. native collagen, plays a key role in the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system. It keeps the connective tissues of muscles, tendons, bones and cartilage sufficiently strong and resistant to stress.
- Type I collagen is a major component of ligaments, tendons and skin, and type II collagen is found in articular cartilage, and vitamin C promotes the production of its own collagen for proper articular cartilage function.
Active ingredients
- Type I collagen - is present in tendons, ligaments and bones, where it forms relatively strong fibres. These are further joined together in bulky fibrous bundles (the rope principle) because the ligaments and tendons must withstand strong pressure. Type I collagen is the most widely used type of collagen. It is also found in the skin.
- Collagen type II - is mostly found in cartilage. This, in turn, is formed by dense spatial networks of very thin fibres, because the cartilage is mainly stressed by pressure in all directions. Type II collagen holds cartilage together and provides strength and durability.
- Vitamin C - plays a key role in the formation of collagen in the body. We need it to form a proper functional structure of collagen fibers. It therefore has a major effect on the quality and strength of articular cartilage.
