Corsair CX450M
The Corsair CX450M power supply unit is an excellent choice for PC builds that require high reliability, low noise and the flexibility of modular cabling. With up to 85% efficiency, it holds the 80 Plus Bronze certification. This power supply unit does not generate much residual heat or consume energy unnecessarily, ensuring a cost-effective operation. The Corsair CX450M is perfect for PC builds that don't use high-performance multi-core processors and gaming graphics cards. Its matte finish helps give your computer a professional look.
Key features
- Power supply unit for multimedia builds (mid range)
- High efficiency (80 Plus Bronze) ensures cost-effectiveness
- Quiet operation at normal load conditions and reliable cooling even when you're pushing your system hard (thermally controlled fan)
- Connect only the cables you need (modular cabling system)
Reliable performance in every situation
The modular cabling system means you can connect only the cables you need. This keeps your PC's case tidy and makes sure nothing interferes with the airflow. Your system is kept cool with a large-diameter thermally controlled fan. This ensures a low noise level during regular operation, while efficiently removing heat when you're pushing your system hard. The Corsair CX450M is also equipped with active Power Factor Correction (PFC), and comes with extra long, fully-sleeved cables, making it easy to install into cases of all sizes. Another advantage is its high tolerance for input voltage, which protects your computer against power fluctuation.
