Why Should You Want a SSD?
SSD storage devices introduce a tremendous boost in performance for all devices that work with data. The key to success lies in their lack of any moving parts and a completely dissimilar data handling system. This results in enhanced resistance to shocks and bumps. Also worth mentioning is the very quiet operation and greatly reduced power consumption. The Seagate FireCuda 120 2TB includes a special 3D NAND chip. This chip type is notable for its vertical multilayered structure, resembling tiny skyscrapers. For some models, the manufacturer lists their endurance in terabytes written (TBW). The Seagate FireCuda 120 2TB has a TBW of 2800 TBW.
