X COM 2 brings you a great deal of opportunity to customize your team, which you can then send on difficult missions. In addition to weapons and equipment, you can improve their features, work with their unique abilities and skills and completely change the course of future battles.
The planet is no longer what it used to be
It has been 22 years since the defeat of Earth's troops and XCOM, the last line of defense lies in ruins. Now, the Earth is dominated by extraterrestrial powers that build cities, seemingly serving as a refuge for mankind, while secretly planning to completely take over the planet.
Each mission will be a challenge
With the new combat system that offers more flexibility and dynamism, you will have to approach each of the missions differently. On your way to the liberation of mankind, you will find yourself in the middle of wilderness or in the centre of a city, and the challange will always differ depending on the environment. This will provide various possibilities of protection against enemy fire and the like. You will have to make the most of your team's skills and not lose its members.
Graphics are way better than it used to be, making the game more realistic.
An important is the base management - improve, customise, and make new allies.
XCOM on the run - but not for good
Take command of the Avenger, an extraterrestrial supply ship that has been rebuilt to XCOM's mobile headquarters. From here, you will send your troops around the world, make allies, and uncover the terrible plans of aliens. Control new units, get to know and hang out with new extraterrestrial races and hybrids with human DNA, and show the uninvited visitors that Earth is still strong and full of determination.
