Kiss Maintré
With the freedom of the grai comes their wrath, and no one knows whether it will fall upon their enemies, or upon the whole world…
The battle for control of the grai is reaching its climax. What was meant to be a perfect union between masters and their living weapons is beginning to crumble. The grai are no longer obedient tools. They question orders, break their bonds, and seek their own path.
Andreil Smrtihlav walks a dark path with an uncertain goal, Malakai Daaen is tearing up his commitments to the child druid Sylax, and Isarell is no longer blindly following the queen of the wild women, fighting not only against her power but also against the voice that speaks to her from the enemy's side—the sitt prince Azrael. His presence could change everything—weakening the bonds that tie Isarell, or plunging her into a trap that will bring a devastation the world has never seen.
The long-awaited conclusion to the Golden Grai series is like a wild river ending in a high waterfall. And the final game is just beginning.
Reviews:
The eponymous volume of the Golden Grai series shows that even in the Czech context, it is possible to create an epic fantasy saga comparable to foreign ones. A skilfully built world, interesting characters, and a fast-paced plot full of combat, hard training, and magic.
- Pevnost
Golden Grai is a novel with an incredibly elaborate world, rules, and principles. You don't have to worry about being bored, and thanks to the author, you will be pleasantly surprised several times by newly discovered layers of the story.
