(* March 31, 1962, Prague) Michal Viewegh is a Czech writer, screenwriter and journalist. He became famous as the author of social novels and prose parodických. It also holds the prestigious Jiri Orten, 1993. His father was a chemical engineer, his mother a lawyer. After graduating from high school in Benesov (1980) two years studying at the University of Economics, after studying interrupted while working as a night watchman in a company Chemapol Prague, occasionally as a train conductor and construction helper. After that, he returned to school and in 1988 graduated in Czech and Education at Charles University. He became a teacher at a primary school in Zbraslav, editor of Czech writer and publisher since 1995, a professional writer. Since the '80s contributed to the Young Front, Young World, he also wrote for the magazine Playboy, literary and Lidove noviny. He became famous as well as the author of literary models and scenarios to friends and spectators successful films such as Bringing Up Girls in Bohemia (1996), The Wonderful Years That Sucked (1997), Novel for Women (2005) Holiday Makers (2006) Shameless (2008 ) St. quartet (2012) and others.
