Buttered side down
A witty, fast-paced novel that many of us will relate to. You'll be laughing out loud!
Valentýna's life is like a B-movie. She lives in a basement flat and calls herself an actress, but she hasn't landed a proper role yet. And a handsome prince in a tight T-shirt, who would show up at her door and say "I love you", just isn't ringing the bell. When two men appear in her life at once – a childhood friend and a charismatic actor from a Dutch company guesting at her theatre – she can feel a "dramatic twist" in the air. But will it be for better or for worse?
