Audiobook Feel the Jew! brings a new, surprising and disturbing perspective on what is happening in the most watched corner of the planet.
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, but much of the West does not see it that way. Why have the Europeans decided that the good guys are the Palestinians? Why do they support them as much as anyone in the world?
Tuvia Tenenbom decided to find out. But as a Jew, he wouldn't get very far. And so, in the Holy Land, he marries a German, a journalist named Tobi. And everybody will say anything to that. From Palestinian politicians to Bedouins, from liberal Israelis to conservative hawks, from Christian monks to Jewish settlers, from ultra-Orthodox Jews to street prostitutes, from European leftist "peace" activists to officials of international organizations.
He asks them all clever and seemingly naive questions to provoke them - which he often succeeds in doing - and find out what they really think. He then composes a picture that is an extremely funny and alarming message about the Middle East and Europe today. Because if Tuvia Tenenbom isn't something, she's certainly not politically correct. His book is full of entertaining dialogue and insightful observations. But behind all the wit there are often surprising and harsh truths we would rather not know. Tenenbom is neither left nor right, he simply wants to know the truth. And so he irritates everybody. This audiobook illuminates events in the Middle East like no other.
