Cliffhanger - Blu-ray
Gabe left his girlfriend and his beloved profession as a mountain guide after he was indirectly responsible for the death of his colleague's girlfriend. A few months later, he returns, traumatised and broken. A man who has reached the very bottom of his psychological strength. Or so it seems. He has no idea that, at the same time, high above the clouds, the robbery of the century is taking place.
A villainous FBI agent decides to switch to the other side of the barricade and wants to kick-start his new life with several hundred million dollars from the federal budget. The carefully planned crime doesn't go exactly to plan—three huge suitcases, stuffed to the brim with banknotes, land in the middle of a landscape full of snowy cliffs and jagged valleys.
The cards are dealt. Who else but a pair of experienced mountain guides, for whom the rocky peaks are home, could help the villains recover their lost fortune in the freezing wilderness of the Rocky Mountains? Thanks to the criminals' cowardly trick, Gabe and his friend suddenly find themselves in the role of hostages. Their task is to find the lost millions. Sylvester Stallone as a hostage? Not for long.
