Emrys
A romantic and mystical fantasy story about a boy named Martin from a poor family, growing up in a medieval world torn by war. When his stonemason father leaves for war and never returns, Martin's mother sends him out into the world to protect him from the same fate. After a series of dramatic events, fate leads Martin on a journey among river merchants to the mysterious city of Tork, where he finds his spiritual teacher, Father Josef, in a monastery. It is there that he gradually delves into the world of ancient books, mystical secrets, and ancient powers hidden deep within the underground catacombs by nine enigmatic scholars. He is chosen for a task that transcends the human world and time itself. This is the story of the boy who is destined to become the most powerful wizard of all time—Merlin, also known as Emrys.
