German - 500 sentences to translate

In the first part you will find more than 500 sentences in the Czech version. They are sorted not by difficulty but by the grammatical phenomena they contain. As you know, translation is a synthetic matter, and a pure sorting is therefore not possible. Multiple linguistic devices appear in each sentence. We have therefore categorized the sentences according to the phenomena that dominate or are typical for the given phenomenon.

Sorting is thus primarily a contribution to clarity and therefore an aid to easier orientation. There is plenty of space for you to write your translation in the sentences. The degree of difficulty varies, but is usually higher. Therefore, we recommend this publication for more advanced students, at the B2&ndash level; C1.

In the second part there is a key which contains translations of Czech sentences into German. These are mainly the translations with the highest frequency. Sometimes you will find several translation variants, if they are possible. The two variants are presented mainly in the past tense, using both the preterite and the perfect, for practice.
