The manual explains in detail the features of the ninth version of the language Java. It guides the reader through all the nooks and crannies of the language from the very basics to advanced constructions. It will therefore be useful not only for beginners, but also for advanced programmers, who will find explanations of the causes of many problems they encounter every day, along with instructions for solving them. Thanks to its scope, it allows us to explain in detail even topics that other publications pass over in silence due to lack of space, forcing programmers to proceed in solving these problems in a trial-and-error style; a mistake.
The explained constructions are demonstrated in the environment JShell, which is a new feature of the ninth version of the language and which allows a simple and effective demonstration of the function of most of the explained program constructs without the unnecessary cotton wool that is necessary when using the classical procedure. This makes it easy to quickly test the constructs discussed and possibly further experiments without having to write auxiliary code with test methods and check prints. This approach greatly facilitates use in basic programming courses.
