A vicious murder in the forests at the end of the world
Famous painter Ludvig Rute is hosting a party in a luxurious house in a remote village near the Norwegian border, inviting all his siblings. They hadn' t seen each other for many years and he wanted to tell them something important. The already tense atmosphere is made even worse by the fact that on Christmas Eve, a vicious murder occurs in the house. Commissioner Gunnar Barbarotti, his partner Eva Backman and their proven team will immediately begin investigating the case.
A snowy house in the woods at the end of the world, a limited circle of suspects - the Kymlinge detectives feel as if they' ve found themselves in an old English detective story. Did one of the family members really commit the murder, or was it someone outside of the family? Was the motive for the crime money, or did the killer have completely different motives?
