Have you ever wondered why those cute, yellow, and utterly adorable Minions voluntarily serve Gru, the baddest of them all?
Believe it or not, these good-natured little guys have, since the dawn of time, seen their purpose in serving the biggest villain far and wide. Whenever, through a series of mishaps they often caused themselves, they lost their master, they immediately sought out a new one. And so it went for centuries, from Tyrannosaurus Rex, through Count Dracula and Emperor Napoleon, until the moment they couldn't find a new leader and fell into a deep depression.
This was made even worse by the fact that, at this tragic moment, they were in a land of eternal snow and ice. Fortunately, three heroes emerged from their ranks – the proud Kevin, the hungry Stuart, and the slightly stressed Bob. They set off into the world to restore the meaning of life for all their Minion friends.
Fortune led them all the way to America, to a Florida festival for criminals of all kinds, which was to be attended by the absolute queen of world crime, Scarlett Overkill. "Her and no one else!" Kevin, Stuart, and Bob decided, and were immediately fired up with the desire to start working for Scarlett. The feelings were certainly not mutual, but the villainess with the fitting surname decided to test their abilities.
How about stealing the British Crown Jewels? And so, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob head to good old England, completely unaware that in the coming days, it's not just what Elizabeth will be wearing on her head that's at stake, but the very existence of their species.
