A minimalist story of love and wandering
The craziest date from an online dating site, two people, three weeks, eight countries and no luggage...
She is Clara, a young lady scarred by a life crisis; he is Jeff, a professor who indulges in strange clothes and, as part of an experiment, tried to live in a container. They met on an online dating site. And they started off really unusually. They bought a ticket, to Istanbul for starters. In a tone of intimacy that immediately engulfs you, Clara describes their adventurous journey. They set off without luggage, with only what they had in their pockets and on their person. Still, it's not a travelogue.
It is an almost "Kerouac-esque" narrative of a journey not only along the roads, but also into one's own inner self. About freedom and relationships. About the beauty of traveling in the style of the biggest hipsters. No plans, no hotels. Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Scotland, England... They take home more than souvenirs. Hope. And maybe even love...
But wait... you think this is just another made-up romance story? But somewhere. Meet Clara and Jeff: http://www.clarabensen.com/. And there will even be a movie about them.
