Purification: Anarchy - DVD
In 2023, the US is experiencing prosperity. But once a year, the streets of America turn into hell for twelve hours of the night. In fact, the new Founding Fathers proclaimed the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which makes the traditional Purgatory Day holiday every year, when for twelve hours anyone can commit any violent crime with impunity and not be punished for it. There are no emergency services or police operating at that time and all crimes are legal during that time. One who wants to take advantage of this is a man eager to punish a drunk driver who killed his child some time ago. But he is forced by circumstances to help a single mother and her daughter who have been taken from their home and left on a deserted highway with a young couple whose car has broken down. Can this group survive the night? An underground resistance movement against the Purgatory is emerging, led by Carmelo Jones, who is calling for an online rebellion against the Founding Fathers.
