Welcome back to Whitestone Hospital!
Let's rejoin our group of doctors, this time for the moving story of Jane and Abby. Jane is the most mysterious and quiet of them all. She is hiding a dark secret and conceals her suffering behind defensive walls.
After a dramatic assault at the hospital, she is transferred to the gynaecology department. Here, she meets her emancipated and rational colleague, Abby, who seems to see more than Jane is comfortable with. She slowly begins to open Jane's 'black box'. Jane has lost her child and is merely surviving. Abby helps her to slowly find a way out of the labyrinth of guilt, despair, and distrust, and a strong bond begins to form between the two women, who are drawn to and support each other.
We will witness many other stories that unfold every day in the gynaecology department, where the world of women is revealed with all its dramas, problems, and mysteries, and where babies are born.

Ava Reed
Ava Reed is a German author and blogger. She started her blogs in 2012 under her own name, Sabrina Scherer. Since 2014, she has used the pseudonym Ava Reed, under which she also publishes her books. After finishing her secondary education, she studied history and Catholic theology before dedicating herself fully to writing, photography, painting, and, of course, reading. She published her first book in 2015. She moved from Frankfurt am Main to the countryside in Hesse, where she lives with her partner. She has already published more than ten books, mostly love stories and romances. When she's not furiously typing away at her keyboard, she spends time with her family and animals.
