A ticket to a world where everyday life looks completely different from yours. A captivating description of the true stories of shepherds in the Bohemian Forest. You won' t read this book, you will experience it. Your breath will be taken away when you run towards the wolves with Enki. You will be biting your lips with excitement as Ares confronts the wild boar. With Ursa, you will engage in a life-and-death fight with a viper. At a misty dawn, you stand somewhere in the Bohemian Forest and out of the haze, Hades and his herd slowly head towards you – a scene like from ancient times. You will sweat on the sun-baked rocks of Štítarský Hill while searching for a lost calf. You will lead the herds on godforsaken paths through dark forests. As soon as you see several pairs of blazing eyes by the fence, the hair on the back of your neck stands up.
Even so, life in the middle of Europe in the twenty-first century. The heroes of this book are a whole range of extraordinary animal personalities. Hades, Hermes, Elizabeth II, Snowdrop, A. Šilerová, Ares, Ursa, Enki, the goat Rozparovačka and a host of others…
