Škwor: Hledání Identity

Škwor' s new album comes at a time when the Prague rock quartet, thanks to the latest studio album Sliby & Lies, last year' s concert recording of 15 years - Prague Incheba Arena and especially a number of sold-out concerts becomes a fundamental acquisition of the domestic rock scene.

This is also proved by the pilot single How many times., Which foreshadows the release of a novelty called The Search for IDentity and is accompanied by an atmospheric black-and-white video clip.

“The name of the album somehow came from my current mood, all of which was logically reflected in most of the lyrics. I think, that I can also speak for boys, when i say that we are actually looking for we have never stopped and we will keep looking, until death do us part, “he comments on the name of the new, Škwor frontman Petr Hrdlička, the eighth series album in a row.

The first single can indicate something about the mood of the album. It is carried in a tried and tested band music model that has been tested for years, thanks to which Škwor has a clearly defined own music trademark. An honest rock base with a legible melodic line, but in a completely contemporary sound coat.

The new album was again created in the band' s own production and under the strong sound supervision of producer and guitarist Leo Holan. There is also the classic “škwoří vypalovačky“ as a single, Many Times.

On the other hand, fans will not miss ballad songs like The Million Stars You Ask, We Have a Problem here, or Scars on Souls, which will definitely be one of the biggest hits of the album and will build on the last big hit of the band The Power of Old Wines.
