The perfect death
Detectives Turner and Callanach's third case from the bestselling author of
The frozen body of a naked girl is discovered in the hills above Edinburgh. On the same day, at the other end of town, George Begbie, the former chief inspector of the local CID, dies, apparently by suicide. But Ava Turner, who recently took his place after he retired after years of hard service, is reluctant to believe that. What reason could he have? Detectives Turner and Callanach face a complex investigation that puts them on the edge of the law. And again they are playing for time, because the killer with the innocent face has already found other victims.
They wrote about the book:
Literary Scotland has a new detective who is hot on the heels of Rebus and Perez and may soon become a leader in the field. An absolute blast, with this book you devour page after page and can't tear yourself away.
