The Snowman - Blu-ray
The Snowman - Blu-ray
Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) is an elite detective investigating crimes in the Norwegian capital. On the one hand, he's an exceptionally good detective, whose unconventional methods almost always lead to success, But on the other hand, he is an irresponsible alcoholic with so many transgressions, that it's not just his superiors who don't want to ignore them anymore, but neither does his girlfriend Rachel, he just broke up with. The only thing standing between him and drinking is a case that would make him think differently.
One day, a case of a woman who disappeared from her house in the middle of the night comes up. A few days later, she is found brutally murdered. The erect snowman left at the crime scene as the only clue suggests that this perpetrator wants to play, and that he may well have played like this a few times in the past. And that he's enjoying it more and more and he's not going to stop.
Although Harry is aided in his investigation by brilliant young investigator Katherine Bratt (Rebecca Ferguson), the police keep pulling the strings. A flood of suspected and real clues and several suspects create the perfect screen for the perpetrator to build snowmen, murder and make fun of Harry Hole. But for a great cop, it only takes the killer's slightest mistake to pick up the trail and never let go.
