Car mechanic Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) is trying to support himself and his teenage daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) by repairing very unroadworthy wrecks. He's desperately failing, but only until one battered truck turns out to be a Transformer, and the most important one at that—Optimus Prime.
Four years after the events that literally wiped out half of Chicago, all representatives of the alien race are on a blacklist, and elite scientific minds are trying to create terrestrial Transformers that could more effectively counter similar threats. But we know from the past that the road to hell is often paved with good intentions, and this case will be no different.
However, Cade isn't too worried about that. Yet. As the new human partner of the most famous Transformer, he finds himself not only in the crosshairs of the US government, but also hunted by Optimus's own kind. On top of all that, his daughter has fallen in love, which, as a father, he certainly cannot approve of.
In addition to Wahlberg in the lead role, the fourth Transformers will bring another major new feature—Dinobots, which are mechanical creatures that look like prehistoric lizards. Welcome to a transformed Jurassic Park.
