White Fang A1/A2
Can a wild beast become a true friend to man? Can love and patience break the ice of mistrust and hatred? Read the captivating story of the troubled fate of a wolfdog and study English at the same time! The plot unfolds on the wild plains of America and captures the destiny of White Fang, half wolf, half dog. His life is a constant fight for survival, for his place in the sun, an eternal adaptation to changing surroundings, circumstances and owners. From early childhood, he is exposed to the adversities of fate in the form of clashes with other beasts, rivalry with animals in the pack, or greedy owners who see him only as an opportunity for enrichment... The story is adapted for beginner readers who want to test how they handle a continuous text in English. The language level in the publication is suitable for beginners and lower-intermediate students. The parallel Czech translation allows the reader to immediately check whether they have understood the foreign-language text correctly. The exercises at the end of the book are suitable for testing the knowledge gained. You can find the audio recording in MP3 format, where the story is narrated by a native speaker, in the Files for download section.
