World War Z - Blu-ray
Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) works for the United Nations as an expert in dealing with various crisis situations. Whenever there is an extreme escalation of local conditions somewhere in the world, Gerry arrives and can usually identify the source of the crisis and find a solution to calm the situation. These skills will come in handy, because the whole world has just turned into a similar hotspot, where a viral epidemic is turning people into bloodthirsty beasts.
A viral epidemic of gigantic proportions has begun to decimate humanity, and if it is not stopped as quickly as possible, there will be no one left to save. The situation is all the worse because the virus manifests itself with unprecedented aggression in those infected, who deliberately attack those who have so far avoided the disease. In the midst of the apocalypse, Gerry must find the source of the contagion, because without locating it, he cannot succeed in the fight against the invisible enemy. Finding the proverbial needle in a haystack would probably be much easier, as the target of Gerry's mission could be hiding anywhere in the world.
