The autofocus speed and sensitivity can be adjusted when shooting video, and there are also 4 focusing modes. The Nikon D780 allows you to record rich HDR HLG footage to an external recording device and display it directly on a compatible monitor. In addition, you can record videos in N-Log format with 10-bit colour depth, capturing 4x more information than standard 8-bit recording.

All your footage can be time-coded in-camera for easier synchronization and logging, especially when working with multiple cameras. You can record the timecode in drop frame format and send it to the 10-bit HDMI output.

To customize your workflow, there is a dual SD UHS-II memory card slot with the option to set up image backup or separate storage of RAW and JPEG photos.
