OSMOBIOTIC® FLORA Baby is a food supplement. Probiotics with a combination of carefully selected and proven microbial strains with microencapsulation technology. The food supplement is suitable for children from 1 month with a special combination of two carefully selected and proven microbial strains: Bifidobacterium breve BR03 (DSM 16604) - 250 million in each daily dose and Lactobacillus casei LC03 (DSM 27537) - 250 million in each daily dose.
Probiotic strains in Osmobiotic Flora Baby drops
The probiotic strains are individually processed using a microencapsulation process that protects them from the action of stomach acids and makes them more resistant than microbial strains without microencapsulation. This allows more viable microorganisms to enter the intestine. Each microbial strain is encased in a lipid layer that protects it from the action of stomach acids. Thanks to microencapsulation technology, more viable microorganisms enter the intestine.
Osmobiotic Flora range
It is available in different forms and with different compositions:
- Osmobiotic Flora: for adults, 12 sachets with powder to dissolve in water
- Osmobiotic Flora Kids:for children from 3 years of age, 12 sachets of dissolvable powder with raspberry flavour
- Osmobiotic Flora Baby: for children from 1 month, suspension in a 5 ml bottle with dropper
Ingredients
Corn oil; filler: maltodextrin; microencapsulated microbial strains: Bifidobacterium breve BR03 (DSM 16604) - 250 million in each daily dose, Lactobacillus casei LC03 (DSM 27537) - 250 million in each daily dose.
Recommended dosage
Children from 1 month:
5 drops once a day for 15 days.
If necessary, it can be repeated. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Administer the drops with a spoon sized for the child's age or stir them into cold or lukewarm food. The presence of solid particles in the suspension after shaking the vial is quite common. Do not administer the medicine by dropper directly into the child's mouth. Do not clean the dropper to prevent microbial contamination.
Notice
Osmobiotic Flora Baby is a dietary supplement. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet. Persons with severe immune deficiencies or chronic illness are advised to consult their physician or pharmacist before using this dietary supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children. Minimum expiry date on the bottle and on the bottom of the box after EXP. Use the product within 15 days after first opening.
Storage
Store in a dry and dark place and at a maximum temperature of 25 °C. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
