Great Pictures Instantly
The GX800 produces crisp, sharp photos with vividly rendered colours. It can also make clean images that are minimally grainy even in bad light conditions. As a result of removing the anti-aliasing filter from the Digital Live MOS sensor, the camera is better at reproducing fine details. The Venus Engine image processor can process shade, saturation and brightness data separately, and can therefore colour the image accurately. Even the fine tonal transitions of a blue sky or water will be graded without visible jumps.
Convenient and Fun Photography
The tilting touchscreen can focus on any part of a scene - just use your finger to choose where. When taking a selfie, you can flip the display towards you to make sure your friends or the scene behind you also make the shot. The unique Post Focus feature lets you choose the focal point after taking the photo. In addition to this, the Focus Stacking feature takes a series of shots with different focal points and different aperture settings. It then combines these photos. As a result, it is easy to take photos with an impressive sharpness even in complex environments.
